Toyota Corolla The Best Selling Compact Car In The World

Toyota Corolla is the best-selling compact car in the world, more than 30 million units sold from 1966 until now. Corolla is not only produced in Japan, but also in countries like the United States, Canada, South Africa, Thailand, UK, Turkey, and several other countries.

Corolla 4-cylinder gasoline engine in Japan and Europe and is also marketed by diesel engines. Body shape is the most common Corolla 4-door sedan. Another body of available models is Station Wagon, and 3 and 5-door hatchback. Form Coupe sports model 2-door ever produced from 1970 to 1999 under the name Corolla Levin and Sprinter Trueno. In the 1980s, Levin and Trueno is also available in the form of 3-door Liftback.

Corolla is the main competitor is the Honda Civic, Nissan Sunny or Sentra, Mitsubishi Lancer, Mazda 323 which was later replaced by the Mazda3 and Subaru Impreza.

Tenth Generation (2006-Present)
